With over 2,800 students, Emmaus High School is a community of learners from many different cultural backgrounds. The focus of the Global Citizens Club is to assist students in learning about and becoming actively engaged in promoting a globally-minded consciousness and worldview. On this episode we hear from club members Britney Cordero, Cecilia Christ, Shiv Patel, and Ariana Ruiz describe the ways that the group strives to help expand student's understanding on the importance of celebrating the many cultures at EHS. They do this through different themed events, learning opportunities, and fundraisers to make connections to people all over the world.
The club meets on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month in Room 230. For more information, please contact club advisor Mrs. Kita.
