As part of their on-going mission as an organization that allows students to facilitate diversity awareness and devise anti-bullying projects that affect the entire student body., the No Place for Hate club welcomed Dr. Mykee Fowlin to EHS on Friday, September 16, to perform his one-man show “You Don't Know Me Until You Know Me.” Dr. Mykee mixes psychology, performance, and poetry to, in his own words, “create an atmosphere of worldwide inclusion, not just tolerance, towards all people.”
In this episode, Dr. Mykee is joined by No Place for Hate co-advisors Steph Larkin and Brian Harkness, as well as around 50 students, for a conversation that occurred between his two performances. This is the second time this same group has appeared on the podcast to talk about diversity and inclusion. To reference the previous conversation, go to www.9thgradeexperience.com/s2e5.
